I live in a small town with a population of about three thousand people. Up until this year, each home had a septic system or a sand mound in their yard. Recently, the township announced that sewage will be installed. Each resident will be required to hook into the system. The main lines will be dug by a company that the township will hire. Each resident will be responsible for installing the lines from their home to the main lines. All of this must be done within a certain time frame. The township provided residents with a list of businesses that they recommend for the job, but the homeowners are welcome to hire any business or individual that they choose. Homeowners can even choose to do the work on their own. So, bring in the backhoes. The whole town is getting sewage.
